The Elwood Glass Festival located in Elwood, Indiana is the pride of the community and one of the leading festivals in Central Indiana. The festival has been Elwoods largest annual event for 47 years.

The Glass Festival is organized by the Elwood Chamber of Commerce with sponsorships from local businesses and help from countless volunteers from the community. It is held annually, the third weekend of August, from Friday through Sunday.

The festival is a tribute to Elwoods unique, beautifully crafted, hand-blown art-glass produced in the communitys two art-glass factories The House of Glass and Carols Legacy Glass.

The Glass Festival includes a parade, carnival rides, arts and crafts, food, collectibles, bus tours, demonstrations, photography, a quilt show, and other fun contests. The Vintage Rollers Car Show brings more than 300 classic and antique cars each year. Live bands and other entertainment perform at the Jim Knoop Amphitheater at Callaway Park. And free bus tours are available daily and include stops at Carols Legacy Glass and the Historic Elwood Opera House.

The Elwood Glass Festival is an event the whole family will enjoy. Admission is FREE!
