The Annual Fishers Freedom Festival is always held the last full weekend in June on Saturday and Sunday. With over 50,000 attendees from all over the U.S., this free family event hosts hundreds of art & craft sites, business booths, fireworks, 5K Run/Walk, live music, national UFO Major Disc Dog Tournament, Children & Teen Tents, two Parades, a Street Dance, Food Vendors, Free Games Booths, and so much more.

Located at Roy G. Holland Park (One Park Drive) in Fishers, the 5K Event registration begins the festival on Saturday, June 29 at 6:15 A.M. and wraps up with the Street Dance featuring Whiskey Biscuits 6:30 P.M. 10 P.M. On Sunday, June 30, the Festival will continue at 8:00 A.M. with the Indy Disc Dog competition registration and the nondenominational church service at 8:30 A.M.

The Main Parade begins at 4 P.M. at the corner of 116th Street & Lantern Road. It will continue west down 116th Street, turn north on Holland Drive, and finish at Holland Park. From immediately west of the Commercial Drive intersection going west through Hague Road, 116th Street will be closed to traffic due at 3 p.m. due to the parade and will reopen as soon as possible. Parade watchers are asked to stay off of the street when the parade is in progress (due to motorized vehicles participating in the parade). The Festival's grand finale will consist of the "Big Daddy Caddy" band at 6:30 P.M. and the fireworks will begin at dusk.

Even though the event is at no charge, the Festival strongly encourages attendees to bring donations of non-perishable food items, bottled water, trash bags, gallon size Ziploc bags, toilet tissue, paper towels, dental floss, tooth brushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bar soap, hand sanitizer, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, wash clothes, mops, mop buckets, push brooms, cleaning supplies for floors and walls, diapers, baby wipes and baby formula, baby food, disposable diapers, cleaning supplies, school supplies, gently used and new clothing, toys, games, books and/or toiletries for admittance. Multiple drop-off locations will be located throughout Holland Park and will also be collected by Boy Scouts of America Troops walking in the Main Parade on Sunday. All items will go to non-profits in Hamilton County.

The public may park at Holland Park for $2 per vehicle. There will be free parking at the Fishers Train Station in the Town Municipal Complex (11601 Municipal Drive ) and the Alhuda Foundation parking lot and grass area located at Lantern Road and Sunblest Blvd. A free shuttle will run approximately every 15 minutes during festival hours to transport people to Holland Park and back. No parking will be allowed on Sunday on Ellipse Parkway or Holland Drive due to the Children's Parade, Main Parade and fireworks. Limited parking in designated areas will be allowed in the Town Complex on Sunday due to Main Parade's line-up.
