Come join us for the 43rd Annual North Salem Old Fashion Days

North Salem Old Fashion Days, a three-day event from Sept 1st - 3rd in northwest Hendricks County, will bring back all of its old traditions and introduce a few new ones all while greeting you with a smile and ushering you in for a weekend full of food, fun and lively entertainment.

A smorgasboard breakfast kicks off the festival at 7 a.m. on Saturday at the United Methodist Church on Main Street. At 11 a.m., you can't miss the Old Fashion Days Parade, the largest parade in Hendricks County. Be sure to bring a sack for the kiddos as candy will be aplenty and plan to come early as parking will fill up fast.A Pork Chop Dinner will be held at the North Salem Christian Church on Saturday from 10:30 until 3:00pm. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Church Camp for children in the community. Come and enjoy a delicious meal in an air conditioned building!

Over 50 eclectic craft vendors, art & food booths are located throughout the festival grounds. New this year at Harvest Moon Square is the arts & crafts area featuring all handcrafted items. Daily demonstrations are taking place in the Pioneer Tent located in the Community Square including a blacksmith, weaver & farmers market.
