Come join us September 15-16, 2017 for another awesome year off BBQ! The Marshall County Blazin' BBQ & Bluegrass will be taking place in Centennial Park!

This is a professional Cooking Competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. All of the teams paid an entry fee to compete. The teams are judged on how their food tastes and looks. This takes a great deal of time and concentration.

On Saturday September 16, 2017, teams are preparing their entries for judging and may not be very conversational. Please take this into consideration, these teams started setting on Friday if not Thursday before so they invested many hours and money to compete in this event.

BBQ teams love to discuss their cooking and their cookers, but remember this is a professional competition and they may be busy preparing an entry for the judges.

Food samples - do not take anything from any teams cooking area; this may be their BBQ entry you just destroyed! BBQ teams are not required to make food samples for the public. Public food samples are entirely at the discretion of the BBQ team. If a team does not have samples available, please respect their wishes.

Do not enter BBQ team cooking areas. Cooking area can be dangerous. Teams are very busy and have routines that must be completed.
