Art on the Avenue showcases various visual arts, fine arts, including pottery, jewelry, paintings and musical acts on Saturday, September 17th. It is a juried art competition that many artists from all over Indiana come to show, sell and demonstrate their wares. Art on the Avenue includes a Kids Corner that children are provided with a free make and take art adventure delighting one and all. For the high school teen group, there is Chalkn a Block, where the teens participate in themed drawing with chalk and awarded prizes for competition. Stroll by the Overlook and enjoy the sounds of music, view and purchase art, enjoy the entertainment & great food for an afternoon which entices many from the afar. This event has been awarded the honor as a Bicentennial event for the year 2016!
