The Porter County Animal Shelter has announced their 18th Annual Be Kind To Animals Pet Care Expo to be held on Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Porter County Expo Center. BOOTH RENTAL INFORMATION WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN EARLY FEBRUARY! "The Be Kind To Animals Pet Care Expo is the longest running, largest and most well attended animal care events in northwest Indiana," said Shelter Director Toni Bianchi. Because of the growth in the number of vendors at the event, it will again be held in Expo East building at the Porter County Expo Center. The long list of vendors will include veterinarians and animal hospitals, rescues, animal behavior consultant, pet photographer, pet supply stores, and food vendors. There will also be raffles and door prizes, and adoptable animals from the Porter County Animal Shelter. While we continue to grow the size of the event, two things have not changed, said Bianchi. It is still FREE admission and leashed pets are welcome.
