| Description: | From 150th Annual Schnellville Sesquicentennial Website: Schnellville, a small community in southwest Indiana, will celebrate its 150th birthday in 2015. Schnellville was founded in 1865 by Henry Schnell, a German immigrant. Schnell was an ambitious adventurer who worked hard to achieve his goals. He and his wife had 12 children, and some of their descendants still live in Schnellville today. The Schnellville community is filled with hard working, honest, and faithful people who are always willing to lend a helping hand for their neighbors. Henry would be proud of what his little town has become. Schnellville looks forward to celebrating its heritage at our Sesquicentennial on September 18-20, 2015. We hope you will join the celebration as well!
